Additional comments are as follows:

1.

Rancho Seco returned to operation on September 29, after a six month outage for refueling, maintenance, inspections, and modifications.

The unit was holding at 40% power for testing on September 30.

2.

Maximum waste water flow rate was 8,000 gpm for 10 hours1.157407e-4 days <br />0.00278 hours <br />1.653439e-5 weeks <br />3.805e-6 months <br /> on September 14.

3.

Waste water discharges amounted to 150 M gallons.

4.

Maximum dissolved solids in waste water discharge was 4,180 lbs.

per day, which occurred during a retention basin release on September 20.

5.

Flow through the sewage plant averaged 11,789 gpd for the montn of September, which is an overload of plant design.

6.

High Settleable. Matter and Total Coliform in sewage plant effluent is attributed to flow in excess of design.

The day before the Coliform sample was taken, we were having problems with the C1 feed. The day of the sampling the Cl was in 7
