Dear Mr. Miller:
This documents a clarFication that was discussed by phone on January 29,.1998, with M. Mark Smith of your staff conceming the application of the May 1,1998, completion date to Actions 2 through 9 described in the Plan of Action and Schedule (POAS) section of issue 3 of the Plan for Achieving Compliance with NRC Regulations at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (DOE /ORO-2027/R3).
