SUBJECT:

CLOSURE OF TAC NO. M94439, BRAIDWOOD, UNIT 1, STEAM GENERATOR REPLACEMENT TAC Nos. M94438 and M94439 were opened to track miscellaneous technical issues related to the replacement of the steam generators at Byron, Unit 1, and Braidwood, Unit 1, respectively.

The technical issues were resolved, and the actions under TAC Nos. M94438 and M94439 were completed, before the steam generators were replaced on the lead plant, Byron, Unit 1. Byron completed the steam generator replacement outage on March 8,1998. TAC No. M94438 was closed on March 31,1998.

Currently there are no technical issues that require resolution to support the steam generator replacement at Braidwood, Unit 1; therefore, TAC No. M98439 is being closed. New TAC Nos, will be opened, as necessary, if new technicalissues arise.
