This letter confirms our conversation this morning.

I inquired about the status of my letter of Friday, March 10, 1989, in which I requested you to ensure that none of the Governments are deleted from any Shoreham service list.

You stated to me this morning that while you have not yet taken fornal action to ensure that that is the case, you had mentioned the matter to several persons and that you saw no problem in ensuring that the Governments remain on all NRC service lists.

You also stated that if any problem did arise in that connection, you would let me know.

I also inquired regarding the status of the flRC Staff's actions pursuant to CLI-89-02 and, specifically, whether there was any schedule which the Staff has established for completion of the tasks specified in CLI-89-02.

You advised me that while the Staff has some internal goals, they were not yet publicly i

available and thus you could nct disclose the schedule.

You did state, however, that the Staff would not complete. those tasks l

either this week or next week.

You stated that as soon as a publicly available schedule for Staff completion of these matters I

has been prepared, you will promptly advise me of it.
