These changes represent TVA's continued efforts to focus our management structure in a manner which will give primary support to safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation. As we mentioned in our June 3 letter to the NRC's Office of Special Projects, TVA's reorganization efforts are aimed at implementing those changes necessary to reflect a reorientation from design and modification to one which supports safe plant operation and institutionalization of the improvements made to date. These changes are also consistent with the expectation expressed in the NRC's Safct)
