SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-160/85-03 AND 50-276/85-02 Our letter dated February 28, 1986, requested a supplemental response to the Notice of Violation issued on October 18, 1985, concerning activities conducted at your Research Reactor Facility. Thank you for your supplemental responses of March 6, and July 22, 1986.

We have evaluated those responses and your December 1, 1985, response and found that they meet the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.

With regard to Violation 2, Subpart b, we will examine the implementation of your corrective actions during future inspections.

With regard to Violation -2, Subparts c and d, we agree with your position and have deleted the subparts from our records.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
