This letter transmits the findings of the routine resident safety inspection

by Messrs. E. Kelly and L. Scholl on December 11, 1987 - January 25, 1988 at

the Lir.erick Generating Station, Limerick, Pennsylvania.

The inspection

consisted of document reviews, interviews, and observation of activities, and

the ~results have been discussed with Mr. Jay Doering, Superintendent of

Operations.

No violat' ions of NRC requirements were identified and no response is required.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure

will be placed in the Public Document Room.
