Dear Mr. Hinnant:

This letter confirms my telephone conversation with Lori Hayes of your staff on August 6, 2002, concerning a security technical/management meeting which has been scheduled for August 26, 2002, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the recent security organizational changes and the status of additional security measures at your sites.

The location of the meeting will be held at the Region II office of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, 61 Forsyth Street, Room 24T25, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. This meeting is a closed meeting in accordance with Management Directive 3.5 - Public Attendance at Certain Meetings Involving the NRC Staff because Safeguards Information will be discussed.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
