Inadequate Identification of Baseline Calibration Blocks r | |||
The calibration blocks used for the Oconee Unit 3 piping baseline inspection were supplied by B&W in 1970 as part of the original oconee Unit 1 baseline inspection program. | |||
Since Appendix B to 10CFR50 was issued af ter the cali-bration blocks had been supplied to Oconee, records and data did not meet all requirements of Criterion XII. | |||
Furthermore, the blocks were modified, but appropriate changes were not made to the drawings. | |||
To correct this situation, new drawings of the calibration blocks have been made. A spectrographic analysis has been made on each of the blocks where records of an analysis could not be found., The revised drawings and the chemical analysis data were included in a revision to the Preoperational Inspection Manual on June 28, 1974. | |||
Identification numbers will be added to the blocks to assure proper control prior to July 19, 1974. | |||
