Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation's request for an extension to provide SAMA RAI responses is granted. The new due date for these responses will be April 20, 2007. Mr. Garrett may be receiving a follow-up letter from NRC acknowledging the granting of the extension request. If not, this email will serve as your notification and will be placed on the docket. Dear Mr. Jacobs,

> In a letter dated February 7, 2007, the NRC requested additional information regarding Severe Accident Mitigation Alternatives for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS). This request was made in support of the application for license renewal submitted by Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation. The letter requested a response within 60days.
