Ferguson, dated March 19, 1982 (2)  NRC Internal memo from McCorkle to Schwencer, dated November 6, 1981 The Washington  Public Power Supply System has conducted a review of the conformance  of WNP-2  design to NRC Regulations of Safety Significance as requested by the NRC (Ref. 1). The review is documented in the enclosed report.
In addition to the information provided in this enclosure, conformance

to 10CFR50, Appendix A, General Design Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants, is discussed in Chapter 3, Section 3. 1.2 of the Final Safety Analysis Report (fSAR). Appendix C to the FSAR contains information on the Supply System's conformance assessment of WNP-2 to USNRC Regulatory Guides, Division 1. furthermore, the methods by which the applicable requirements of 10CFR73 r elate to physical security have been discussed previously in reports submitted to the NRC and withheld from public disclosure under the provisions of 10CFR2.790. The physical security plan and safeguard contingency plan have been accepted and approved by the NRC (Ref. 2).
