SUMMARY

OF THE MARCH 26, 2015, MONTICELLO PUBLIC MEETING On March 26, 2015, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting at the Monticello Community Center in Monticello, Minnesota, to discuss the 2014 annual assessment results for Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant. The enclosure is a list of attendees for the meeting. A copy of the slides used by the NRCs staff during the meeting is located in ADAMS at Accession Number ML15092A480 and a copy of the slides used by the licensee staff is located in ADAMS at the Accession Number ML15092A482.

At the meeting, the NRC provided an overview of the reactor oversight program, the results of the 2014 annual assessment for Monticello, and the NRCs inspection plans for 2015. The NRCs presentation was followed by statements from the Xcel Energy Chief Nuclear Officer as well as the Monticello Site Vice President and other site management which included site priorities following a recent security finding and priorities regarding human performance.

After the business part of the meeting ended, NRC and Monticello representatives listened to comments and addressed several questions from the public.
