On April 27, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at your Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2. NRC inspectors discussed results of this inspection with Mr. Gregory A. Boerschig, Site Vice President, and other members of your staff. The results of this inspection are documented in the enclosed inspection report.

SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 - NRC SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT 05000327/2017201 AND 05000328/2017201

Dear Mr. Shea:

On April 27, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at your Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2. NRC inspectors discussed results of this inspection with Mr. Gregory A. Boerschig, Site Vice President, and other members of your staff. The results of this inspection are documented in the enclosed inspection report.

The NRC inspectors did not identify any findings or violations of more than minor significance.

This letter will be available for public inspection at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html and at the NRC Public Document Room in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390, Public Inspections, Exemptions, Request for Withholding.

The enclosed report contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73.21, Protection of Safeguards Information: Performance Requirements, and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
