NRC Check ¹ 73192326 Gentlemen:

On September 17, 1990, Carolina Power and Light Company (CP&L) received three checks for reimbursement of overcollection of 1990 annual fees.

We did not receive a check for Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (SHNPP).

During a conversation on October 17,

1990, between Mr. Douglas Weiss of the License Fee Management Branch and Ms. Wanda Langston of my staff, he indicated that a check (¹73192326, dated 9/12/90) for SHNPP in the amount: of $53,000 had been mailed to us at the same time the others were mailed out.

We have checked with our Treasury and Accounting departments, and the check has not been received by CP&L.

Therefore, please issue CP&L another check.
