SUMMARY

OF FEBRUARY 14, 2011, PUBLIC MEETING WITH TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY REGARDING THE PROJECT SCHEDULE FOR WAITS BAR NUCLEAR PLANT, UNIT 2 On February 14,2011, a Category 1 public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and representatives of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) at NRC Headquarters, Two White Flint North, 11545 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the operating license application review, including major milestones and potential challenges that may impact the project schedule. A list of participants is enclosed.

The meeting consisted of the NRC and TVA staff discussing the licensing review along with construction inspection activities and other key challenges.

Members of the public did not participate in the meeting.
