FYI, More ground water samples planned for December 8th. John White indicates that for the time being, we want duplicate samples of everything the State takes. Any sample taken from a previously identified contaminated well, requires appropriate shipping paperwork for an excepted quantity shipment (simple paperwork declaration). We appreciate your support in co-collecting these samples.

Date for Splits Samples at IP Hello All, We have just finalized a date for the next round of split samples for H-3 between Entergy and the Sta':e (DEC this time), and NRC is planning to do splits as well.

Larry Rosenmann, a DEC geologist who is already badged for the site, will be arriving at IPEC on the morning of Thursday the 8th. Our plan is to sample:

- MW-3B (southernmost new well by discharge canal),

- MW-3D (1st new well inside Unit 2 pool building),

- some or all of MW-1, MW-1 01, 103, 104, 105, 107, 110, and 112, (pre-existing wells on the upper part of the site, one of which is across Broadway), and

- possibly the two wells at the gypsum plant to the south of IPEC.

Bill Axe'son of ENTERGY has a call in to the gypsum plant's contractors but has not heard back on the day of the week they will be sampling. If it is prior to Thursday, then his people (and probably the NRC) will collect splits with them, and we will try to see if the contractor (not associated with Entergy) would be willing to hold on to a split for the State which Larry could pick up Thursday.
