This letter refers to the inspection conducted on July 21 - 23, 2015, at your permanently shut down Humboldt Bay Power Plant, Unit 3 facility in Eureka, Californi The purpose of the inspection was to determine whether decommissioning activities were being conducted safely and in conformance with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirement The results of the inspection were discussed with members of your staff at the conclusion of the onsite inspection on July 23, 201 During this inspection, NRC staff examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to public health and safety to confirm compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations | |||
