This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Graham Davenport of your staffand Mr. Robert Carroll of this office on November 29, 2006, concerning a Regulatory Conference, being conducted at your request, which has been scheduled for January 17, 2007, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The meeting notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed. The purpose of the Regulatory Conference is to discuss the risk significance of the inspection finding documented in Inspection Report 05000269,270,287/2006018. This finding involved the apparent failure to implement adequate foreign material exclusion controls for the Unit 3 reactor building emergency sump. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and itsenclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public DocumentRoom (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
