Dear Mr. Pham:

As both an Indian Point employee and resident of the Hudson Valley, I implore you to approve the relicensing of the Indian Point Energy Center in Buchanan, New York.

I am appalled and disappointed by the lack of factual information communicated to the public about the benefits of nuclear power for this region.

Too often representatives from Indian Point and Entergy are not presented with a balanced platform from which to offer expert opinions on operational safety, security, emergency planning, air quality and the economic viability of a well-run nuclear facility and its positive effect on the surrounding communities.

There is no question that the site's "safety first" philosophy has placed Indian Point in the top tier of commercial operating nuclear plants in the U.S., and both management and front line employees share the same goal - achieving even higher levels of safe operational performance.

For the good of the region, and in light of the need for more environmentally friendly sources of electricity I ask you to support the relicensing of the Indian Point Energy Center.

Sincerely, Thomas Pulcher gOJ~r 3
