MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - CATEGORY ONE - REGULATORY PERFORMANCE MEETING - EDWIN I. HATCH NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NOS. 50-321 AND 50-366

Dear Mr. Madison:

This letter is to inform you of a Category 1 public meeting which has been scheduled for September 29, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The enclosed meeting notice provides additional details. The purpose of this Regulatory Performance Meeting is to discuss corrective actions associated with the two White findings that were documented in NRC Inspection Reports 05000321,366/2009008, and 05000366/2010006. The findings dealt with failure of the 1B emergency diesel generator coupling and failure to establish appropriate preventative maintenance for electrolytic capacitors.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
