The following document is enclosed for official filing with the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency:

Four copies of draft Supplement 44 to NUREG-1437, "Generic Environmental Impact Statement for License Renewal of Nuclear Plants," regarding the license renewal of Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant.

Simultaneously with this filing, a copy of draft Supplement 44 is being mailed or e-mailed to interested Federal and State agencies, industry organizations, interest groups, and members of the public. The distribution list is in Chapter 11. A copy of this document has also been placed in the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) Public Document Room, One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland 20852, and in the NRC Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). Please note that the public comment period for draft Supplement 44 ends on July 25, 2011.
