NRC SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT 05000498/2016405; 05000499/2016405

Dear Mr. Koehl:

On January 6, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at the South Texas Project Electric Generating Station, Units 1 and 2. The NRC inspectors discussed the results of this inspection with you, and other members of your staff.

The inspectors documented the results of this inspection in the enclosed inspection report.

The NRC inspector did not identify any findings or violations of more than minor significance.
