ISSUANCE OF RENEWED FACILITY OPERATING LICENSES FOR THE GRAND GULF NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1 (CAC NO. ME7493)
Dear Mr. Mulligan:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) has issued Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-29 for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (GGNS). The NRC issued the renewed facility operating license based on its review of your application dated October 28, 2011, as supplemented by letters submitted to the NRC through October 3, 2016.
The technical specifications for GGNS, were not amended as a result of the NRCs review.
Facility Operating License No. NPF-29 expires at midnight on November 1, 2024. Issuance of Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-29 extends the original expiration for an additional 20 years, bringing it to midnight on November 1, 2044.
