The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) action to close Inspection Report 05000285/2016006. This report was the annual assessment report for 2016, however, the NRC terminated the Reactor Oversight Process for Fort Calhoun on December 28, 2016 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML16363A449). The hours charged to this report were for the preparation of materials to close out the Reactor Oversight Process and transition to decommissioning oversight, including issuance of the Updated Inspection Plan (ADAMS Accession No. ML16347A308), and Commencement of Decommissiong Inspection Program Under Inspection Manual Chapter 2561 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17006A431). A separate report will not be issued. | |||

Dear Ms. Fisher:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) action to close Inspection Report 05000285/2016006.
