Dear Mr. Vissing,

The enclosed license amendment request (LAR) proposes to revise the Ginna Station Improved Technical Specifications (ITS) to correct an error in the required accumulator borated water volume as specified in SR 3.5.1.2. Specifically,'R 3.5.1.2 does not correctly match cubic feet volume limits with their associated accumulator percent level value. RGEcE is presently administratively controlling the upper and lower accumulator water volumes to the most limitingofthe volume and percent level values to ensure compliance with the Ginna Station ITS. This provides a very narrow allowable accumulator level range ofeffectively 67% to 82%; thus, RGkE requests NRC review as soon as possible to prevent entry into the accumulator LCO or plant shutdown in the event of a small accumulator volume change.

The proposed LARshould be considered effective immediately and implemented within 30 days aAer RGB'eceipt ofNRC approval.
