Dear Mr. Denton:

In our letter of December 11, 1979 (AEP:NRC:00297A),

we submitted WCAP-9566 entitled "The Nuclear Design and Core Management of the Donald C.

Cook Unit 2 Nuclear Power Plant Cycle 2" at the request of your staff in order to assist them in the review of certain Technical Specification change requests.

We have been informed by the staff that only Section 4 of the subject report was utilized in their review.

Therefore, in order to 'protect the proprietary status of the subject

report, we request that you return it to us.

In its place, we will submit a document containing the relevant section of WCAP-9566 in appropriate proprietary and non-proprietary formats.
