ADDITIONAL REQUESTS FOR HEARING SUBMITTED WITH RESPECT TO LICENSE APPLICATION OF INTERIM STORAGE PARTNERS LLC FOR THE WCS CONSOLIDATED INTERIM STORAGE FACILITY (DOCKET NO. 72-1050-ISFSI)

The Office of the Secretary has received two additional requests for hearing in response to the application of Interim Storage Partners LLC for the WCS Consolidated Interim Storage Facility (Docket No. 72-1050-ISFSI), which was published in the Federal Register at 83 Fed. Reg. 44070 (August 29, 2018).

Both requests were timely submitted via Electronic Information Exchange (EIE) on November 13, 2018. The first request was filed by counsel for the Sierra Club, and can be found in ADAMS under package accession number ML18317A410. The second request was filed by counsel on behalf of multiple petitioners, namely Don't Waste Michigan, Citizens for Alternatives to Chemical Contamination, Public Citizen, Inc., San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace, Nuclear Energy Information Service, Citizens' Environmental Coalition, Sustainable Energy and Economic Development Coalition, and Leona Morgan, individually. This request from multiple petitioners is located in ADAMS at ML18317A433. This petition's ten supporting documents were received via four EIE submissions and are in ADAMS packages under ML18317A434, ML18317A438, ML18317A442, and a single document at ML18317A446. Both hearing requests and supporting documents are also available on the Electronic Hearing Docket.

These requests for hearing are being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R. § 2.346(i). This referral memorandum is being served on the E-Filing service list for the WCS Consolidated Interim Storage Facility proceeding, Docket No. 72-1050-ISFSI.
