I have lived in Lacey Township for over 25 years and feel it is essential that there be an open and transparent review of this application. The residents of Lacey Twp. and the surrounding communities are the primary subjects whom may be negatively affected by the Licence Transfer and the expedited decommissioning process. The Spent Nuclear fuel was NEVER MEANT to REMAIN ON SITE. Lacey has been host to this dangerous fuel for far to long and should not be considered as a final depository for the materials.
Web Docket: NRC-2018-0237 Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station; Consideration of Approval of Transfer of License and Conforming Amendment Comment On:
Hurricane Sandy brought with it a storm surge that devastated the area and came close to disabling the pumps that cooled the Nuclear materials in the facility. This Historic event should serve as a warning to all that Oyster Creek is in a vulnerable area and should be treated and or evaluated accordingly The facility has been here in Lacey since 1969 so why on earth shouldn't we take the time to hold a public hearing so that all concerned parties have an opportunity to voice their concerns or ask their questions??

I STRONGLY urge you to hold a Public Hearing on the Consideration of Approval of Transfer of Licence and Conforming Amendment for NRC-2018-0237.
