This refers to the routine safety inspection of your Radiological Environmental

Monitoring Program conducted by Mr. J. J. Kottan of this of fice on February

8-12, 1988 of activities authorized by NRC at the Limeri d Generating Station,

Units 1 & 2, and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. J. J. Kottan

with Mr. G. Hunger, Jr. and others of your staff at the conclusion of the

inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I

Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the

inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative

records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
