The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) requests reinstatement of the Senior Operator
- License for Paul James Muren. Mr. Muren terminated employment at MURR on April 2,1997, to--
pursuo employment at the Brunawick Nuclear Plant in South Port, North Carolina. IIe was employed there as an Auxiliary Operator from March 1997 to December 1997, when his position.

We welcome Paul's' return to our stafr efTective January 27,1998. We have scheduled a physical exam for him on January 30,1998. IIis two year physical would have been in May 1998 had he remained on our staff. As part of his training for license reinstatement we will administer a written exam of the same scope as the bit.nial exam administered to our strJTin October / November 1991.
We will also administer an operating exam as outlined in our Requalification Program wnich will
- include at least one reactor startup under evaluation by a shift, supervisor.
We will administer other training as our evaluations warrant, or as you may prescribe as conditions forlicense reinstatement.
