DEFENSE-IN-DEPTH PROTECTIVE STRATEGIES TECHNICAL PAPER Enclosed for your information and consideration is a technical paper that provides a detailed technical analysis of inspection findings and observations associated with the licensees application of defense-in-depth protective strategies to protect critical digital assets that are behind the data diode and located inside the Protected Area and Vital Area. The Office of General Council reviewed the paper and has no legal objection to the enclosed paper. The objectives of the enclosed paper are to help the regional inspectors (1) have a better understanding of the application of defense-in-depth protective strategies and (2) streamline the development of their inspection findings and observations associated with licensees application of defense-in-depth protective strategies.
