SUMMARY

OF APRIL 13, 2022, PUBLIC MEETING WITH INDUSTRY STAKEHOLDERS REGARDING NUCLEAR ENERGY INSTITUTES DEVELOPMENT OF ADVERSARY TIMELINE METHODOLOGY On April 13, 2022, an Observation Meeting1 was held between representatives of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and external stakeholders, which included personnel from the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), industry representatives and the Union of Concerned Scientist. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss NEIs proposed methodology for the development of adversary timelines.

Specifically, staff from NEI provided a presentation2 on how NRC comments were resolved in NEIs White Paper on Risk-Informed Adversary Timelines. The presentation was accompanied by an open Q&A session.

No regulatory decisions were made during the meeting.
