At 0913 EST, the door was closed, and both trains of the control room emergency ventilation system were restored to operable.

On October 26, 2025, at 0040 CDT, the Waterford 3 Steam Electric Unit 3 operating crew declared the control room envelope inoperable in accordance with technical specification (TS) 3.7.6.1 due to the discovery of a hairline crack in the station air supply header in the passageway outside the control room.
Operations entered TS 3.7.6.1 action b. TS 3.7.6.1 action b was complied with by closing manual valves SA-502 and SA-514, thus isolating the section of piping that developed the crack. The station air leak was isolated at time 0120. There was no impact on the health and safety of the plant or plant personnel.
This event is reportable pursuant to 10 CFR 50.72(b)(3)(v)(D), event or condition that could have prevented fulfillment of a safety function of structures or systems that are needed to `(D) mitigate the consequences of an accident,' due to the control room envelope being inoperable.
The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector. | | RA-18-0089, Application to Adopt 10 CFR 50.69, Risk-Informed Categorization and Treatment of Structures, Systems and Components for Nuclear Power Reactors | Catawba | 30 September 2025 | Application to Adopt 10 CFR 50.69, Risk-Informed Categorization and Treatment of Structures, Systems and Components for Nuclear Power Reactors | | | ML25257A007 | Perry | 19 September 2025 | Correction of the Issuance Date of the Safety Evaluation for the License Renewal Application Review on the Technical Specification Page | | | ML25247A004 | Vogtle | 17 September 2025 | SNC Slides - Pre-Submittal Meeting - Vogtle 3 and 4 - TSTF-505, 50.69, and TSTF-425 LARs | | | ML25226A193 | Ginna | 28 August 2025 | August 11, 2025, Summary of Observation Meeting Held with Constellation Energy Generation, LLC Regarding a License Amendment to Extend the Completion Time for Sodium Hydroxide (Naoh) System | | | ML25213A183 | Comanche Peak | 27 August 2025 | – Issuance of Amendment Nos. 193 and 193, Respectively, to Change Technical Specifications Consistent with TSTF-51, TSTF-471-A and TSTF-571 | | | ML25225A243 | Prairie Island | 25 August 2025 | Amendment to Adopt TSTF-541 | | | IR 05000498/2025002 | South Texas 07201041 | 12 August 2025 | – Integrated Inspection Report 05000498/2025002 and 05000499/2025002 and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation 07201041/2024001 and Exercise of Enforcement Discretion | | | IR 05000317/2025002 | Calvert Cliffs | 11 August 2025 | Integrated Inspection Report 05000317/2025002 and 05000318/2025002 | |
