ACRS LETTER REGARDING REVIEW 0F SHUTDOWN NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS DATED APRIL 12, 1988 , In the above subject letter, I was infomed that ACRS plans to review several nuclear power plants that have either been shutdown for an extended period and are now being considered for restart or have been delayed in initial startup for a longer period than usual. In scheduling these reviews, please coordinate closely with the Executive Director for Operation?s office to ensure that your review of these plants, such as Pilgrim and Peach Bottom, can be complete, and any concerns on these plants raised to Comission attention, sufficiently ahead of the date for a Commission vote on restart of these plants. cc: Comissioner Roberts Comissioner Bernthal Comissioner Carr l Comissioner Roberts !
