| The Region I Field Office, NRC Office of Investigations (OI), initiated an investigation (Case No.

| 1-2020-0004 on February 18, 2020, to determine whether a security officer (SO) at Indian Point Energy Center (IPEC) deliberately failed to implement compensatory measures. Based upon documentary and testimonial evidence developed during the OI investigation, the NRC did not substantiate that the SO failed to implement compensatory measures, deliberately or otherwise.
