Description:

On July 17, 1979 while completing final valve line up in ,

preparation for plant startup, both doors to the drywell were inadvertently opened simul taneously with coolant temp > 212 F. This is in violation of Tech. Spec. 3.7.A.L.

Cause and Corrective Action't This event was caused by the latch for the inner door failine allowinn both door's to be opened sihultaneously. The inner door was secured and sealed and leak testing will be conducted.
