This letter documents the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) | This letter documents the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform an inspection of the Target Rocks Appendix B, Quality Assurance Program Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing Plants, to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 50, Domestic Licensing of Production and Utilization Facilities quality assurance and 10 CFR Part 21, Reporting of Defects and Noncompliance, programs as they pertain to activities conducted at your facility related to the design, fabrication, and testing of the ECCS values for the NuScale reactor design. As discussed in the email dated March 5, 2018, the NRC inspection team plans to arrive at your facility on Monday, May 14, 2018, and will conduct an inspection through Friday, May 18, 2018. Subsequent to the inspection, a report will be issued and transmitted to you via letter.
