REGULATORY CONFERENCE WITH ENTERGY

Dear Mr. Kowalewski:

This refers to our meeting conducted at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Region IV Office, Technical Conference Room located in Arlington, Texas on December 14, 2009. At the meeting, NRC and Entergy discussed the significance, cause, and corrective actions associated with an apparent violation involving the inoperability of the Train B vital Battery at Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC's Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADA MS).
