The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) received a license renewal application (LRA) from Exelon Generation Company, LLC, dated June 22, 2011, for the renewal of the operating license for the Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2. The purpose of these meetings is for the NRC staff to describe the license renewal process and to provide members of the public with the opportunity to provide comments regarding environmental issues the NRC should consider during its review of the LRA.
