Gerard van Noordennen, ZionSolutions, Letter to lJ.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Revised Response to Request for Supplemental Information and Request for Additional Information Related to Final Status Survey Final Reports,"
dated February 10, 2021 The Zion Station Restoration Project (ZSRP) License Termination Plan (LTP), Section 5:11, states that the Final Status Survey (FSS) Final Report will be provided to the NRC in phases as remediation and FSS are completed with related portions of the site. The FSS Final Reports for all phases have been submitted to the NRC for review. Since submittal of the FSS Final Reports, ZionSolutions has received and responded to multiple requests for additional information.
During a project status call on April 8, 2021, the staff requested clarification regarding the Radiological Restricted Area (RRA). The following provides the requested information:
Previously submitted maps that depict the switchyard, Survey Unit 10205, as being within the RRA are erroneous. The map entitled "Zion Survey Unit Particle Identification Map,"
provided as a supplement"to ZionSolutions letter ZS-2021-0001 (Reference), depicts the correct boundary of the RRA. The RRA does not include the switchyard.
