Gentlemen:
The Reference transmitted Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
Inspection Report 05000482/2013502, "Wolf Creek Generating Station -
NRC Baseline Inspection Report 05000482/2013502, Preliminary White Finding." In the Reference, the NRC identified a finding that has preliminarily been determined to have low to moderate safety significance (White).
The Reference provided Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) with the opportunity to request a Regulatory Conference or submit a WCNOC position on the finding in writing.
WCNOC appreciates the opportunity to meet with the NRC on this issue and by this letter requests a Regulatory Conference to present WCNOC additional facts and information for the NRC to consider in determining the significance of this finding. This request was also verbally communicated to Mr. Mark Haire on April 8, 2014.
