Urgency Letter for LaSalle Written Operator Licensing Exam On September 16, 2025, the NRC approved administration of the Initial Operator Licensing written examination the week of September 29, 2025, in accordance with NUREG-1021, Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors. The written examination is currently scheduled for October 2, 2025, to support completion of the initial licensing operation exam and in turn support on-shift Reactor Operator and Senior Reactor Operator staffing. In the event of a lapse of government appropriations and a corresponding government shutdown, LaSalle Generating Station is requesting Operator Licensing Examiner support to complete the Initial License Examination.
