As identified in Reference 4 above, Marsh USA, Inc. submitted the most recent certified copies of the nuclear liability endorsements for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES). The endorsements for SSES included insurance coverage under the American Nuclear Insurer's Master Policy - Nuclear Energy Liability Insurance (Secondary Financial Protection).

PPL hereby references that coverage, which includes a Bond for Payment of Retrospective Premiums, as providing the guarantee pursuant to 10 CPR 140.21 for payment of deferred premiums (References 4 and 5).

No new regulatory commitments are contained in this letter.
