- Ken, By letter dated March 31, 2025 (Agencywide Documents and Access Management System Accession No. ML25090A305), Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC, the licensee) submitted a license amendment request (LAR) for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (Vogtle),
Units 3 and 4. The proposed LAR for Vogtle, Units 3 and 4, would change the entry requirements for Condition B of technical specification (TS) 3.8.2, DC [Direct Current] Sources
- Shutdown.
By email dated April 11, 2025 (ML25101A074), the NRC accepted the LAR for review and estimated that this LAR would take approximately 375 hours0.00434 days <br />0.104 hours <br />6.200397e-4 weeks <br />1.426875e-4 months <br /> to complete and be completed by April 11, 2026.
The NRC staff was able to realign staff assignments and readjust workloads; therefore, the revised completion date is February 13, 2026, and the revised estimated hours is 320 hours0.0037 days <br />0.0889 hours <br />5.291005e-4 weeks <br />1.2176e-4 months <br />.
