Dear DFM Director,
In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between our agencies, I request that you review the attached United Kingdom Certificate of Competent Authority GB/3516A/AF, Revision 6, dated August 5, 2025, for the Type 3516 package and make a recommendation concerning our revalidation of the package for import and export use.
To assist you in your review, a copy of the package design safety report for the Type 3516 package, along with other supporting documents will be provided to your staff electronically.
The applicant has requested DOT revalidation to be completed and issued by the end of February 28, 2026.
