By letter dated June 16, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Package Accession No. ML25167A304), Framatome, Inc. (Framatome) submitted Topical Report (TR) ANP-10300, Revision 1, Supplement 1P, Revision 0, AURORA-B:
Addressing L&Cs [Limitations and Conditions] 11, 12, and 18, for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs review and approval.
The NRC staff has performed an initial review of the TR and plans to conduct a regulatory audit on September 17 - 18, 2025, via Microsoft Teams to facilitate its review. The areas of focus for the regulatory audit are the information contained in the submitted TR and relevant supporting documentation (e.g., analyses and calculations). The audit will be performed consistent with NRC Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation Office Instruction LIC-111, Revision 1, Regulatory Audits, dated October 31, 2019 (ML19226A274).
A copy of the audit plan that the NRC staff will follow is provided in proprietary Enclosure 1. A nonproprietary version of the audit plan will be released to the public and is provided in. Additionally, the NRC staff plan to issue a report within 90 days after completion of the audit.
NOTICE: Enclosure 1 to this letter contains Proprietary Information. When this letter is separated from Enclosure 1, this letter is decontrolled.
