Dear Heath Baldner:
By letter dated August 29, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML23241B053), as supplemented on October 26, 2023 (ML23300A138),
October 8, 2024 (ML24283A084 and ML24284A267), and December 9, 2024 (ML24344A171),
NAC International submitted an application for Amendment No. 15 for Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1031 for the MAGNASTOR system.
As stated in the Federal Register (90 FR 13047, March 20, 2025), the effective date of the final CoC No. 1031, Amendment No. 15 is June 3, 2025. Attached are the final CoC No. 1031, Amendment No. 15, and the corresponding technical specifications and final safety evaluation report. This amended certificate constitutes the approval and conditions for the use of the MAGNASTOR Storage Cask System for the storage of spent nuclear fuel under the general licensing provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 72.210.
