NRC to NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC dated August 2, 2024 In accordance with the requirements listed in the referenced letter, NextEra Energy Point Beach (NextEra) is submitting the initial license examination outline for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant.
This submittal is made in accordance with the provisions of NUREG-1021, "Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors, Revision 12". The initial license examination is scheduled for the weeks of March 3, and March 14, 2025. The following materials are enclosed:
One Form 1.3-1 (equivalent), Examination Security Agreement One Form 2.3-1, Examination Outline Quality Checklist Two Forms 3.2-1, Administrative Topics Outline (one each for Reactor Operator [RO] and Senior Reactor Operator [SRO])
Three Forms 3.2-2, Control Room/In-Plant Systems Outline (one for Reactor Operator
[RO], Senior Reactor Operator Instant [SRO-I], and Senior Reactor Operator Upgrade
[SRO-U])
Four Forms 3.3-1, Scenario Outline (one for each projected scenario and spare)
Four Forms 3.4-1, Transient and Event Checklist (one for each team)
