Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) submitted Topical Report (TR) WCAP-16747-P/NP, Appendices C and D, Revision 2, POLCA-T: System Analysis Code with Three-Dimensional Core Model, Appendices C and D (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Package Accession No. ML24267A194) for U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review and approval. The NRC staff reviewed the TR WCAP-16747-P/NP, Appendices C and D, Revision 2, conducted the regulatory audit on November 19-21, 2024, and determined that additional information is required to complete the review.
The proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the RAIs for Westinghouse TR WCAP-16747-P/NP, Appendices C and D, Revision 2, have been placed in ADAMS and made Official Agency Records (OARs).The proprietary version of RAIs is declared as nonpublic because it contains proprietary information. I placed an electronic copy of the proprietary version of the NRC RAI questions in the box.com folder and have given Nathaniel Mackereth, Westinghouse, access to it. The non-proprietary version of the RAIs can be accessed in ADAMS (I also provided a copy via box folder). This email serves as a formal transmittal of the RAI questions. This email will be declared public OAR in ADAMS.
Your response must be via a letter from an authorized individual. When responding to the RAI questions, please provide proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the RAI responses. Nathaniel Mackereth, Westinghouse, indicated via email dated March 21, 2025, that all responses to the NRC RAIs will be submitted to the NRC within 90 days from the receipt of the RAIs. In order to support the NRC review schedule, please provide RAI responses within that timeframe.
