Oct. 12, 2022 The Chair and his staff got a behind-the-scenes tour, including containment and the spent fuel pool. The plant permanently ceased operation in 2021 and is being decommissioned by Holtec.

Oct. 19, 2022 NRC Commissioner David Wright recently visited the Limerick #nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania for a tour of the plant and meetings with the site management team and our resident inspectors.

Oct. 19, 2022 NRC Commissioner Annie Caputo tours the control of Unit 2 at the Nine Mile Point #nuclear power plant on a tour through part of Region I, which also included visits to the Ginna and Susquehanna sites - her first plant visits since returning to the Commission in August.

Nov. 10, 2022 Were keeping an eye on #Nicole as the storm moves toward Florida today, with an expected landfall in the early hours of Thursday as a strong #tropicalstorm or a Category 1 hurricane, not far from the St. Lucie #nuclear power plant.
